One of the best novels there is. A novel full of emotion (will make you cry), with descriptive fighting scene, no young masters or face slapping and there is mystery and conspiracies on the level of reverend insanity. Well, what can you expect from the author of Lord of the mysteries. You can see few elements of lord of mysteries such as the horror of supreme beings shrouded in mystery playing with your life. Hopelessness that your life is not in your hands. This is not a popcorn novel! This is a type of a novel that leaves you with emotions and unwillingness for a great novel to end so suddenly, wishing there were more chapters.furthermore, side characters really feel alive, with their own thinking and aspirations. None of the side characters are 2dimensional, each one could honestly become a protagonist in their own novel.If Webnovel did not butcher the translation causing people to not read it, it would have been as great as lord of the mysteries or even better. FYI: best feeling describing this novel would be you fighting your enemy while a snake is unknowingly strangling you to death the more you move, and at the same time there is a beast in the darkness, that can not be seen but ready to devour you the moment you do a mistake. All this is happening at the same time. but the ground you are fighting on is not really a ground, it’s on a palm of a being shrouded in mystery. watching you like an ant with a wicked smile and if you don’t follow it’s wishes, it will tear your limbs apart one by one or force you to watch your loved ones die in front of you. so the script have to go on according to its desire. You are absolutely hopeless! Whatever the outcome is you are like a fish on a cutting board. But what no one knows, deep down, you know about the snake strangling you, you know about the beast in the darkness and lastly, you know every single action of yours is played accordingly to that supreme beings wishes. Not advertisement at all, only reason why I wrote that is because the translators butchered the novel and it received a lot of hate. It could have been as great as lord of the mystery of the translator was not so shit.
