Well if I were to say 1 line it would be. "Great novel, but no romance"
I have read a lot of official translated chapters for this novel. Its decent. Has a good amount of comedy. Mcs progression is not too fast, neither too slow(talking about progression/chapter, not in novel time. That is very fast). The cheat is okay and pets are interesting. A good "time pass" novel. One issue which many people will have is that mc never fights outside of competitions. Like the whole world is very very safe. No, young masters saying "you dare" to mc, nor are there old monsters who covet mcs secret. There are no exciting adventures nor are there any dangerous dungeons. Its pretty much just a safe space for our mc.
I like this book. I was hoping for a new read but this is also under the name "Unscientific Beast Taming" on other sites and further along in chapters. Currently around 900+ chapters there.
The only reason that version is 900+ chapters is that the original hosting site for the translation breaks up some of the chapters anywhere from 2-9 parts ruining the pacing. Chapter 941 of that translation is actually closer to 438, though it may be even be an earlier chapter than 438 as the site I found it on sometimes repeated chapters. Honestly the way they broke it down in some chapters makes it almost unreadable in ways that my phones autotranslate MTL became preferred for me.
well lets say the evolution part is good but i read through over half of the book and just didnt get to where he goes out to hunt mobs he does fight contests and goes into these ruins but not much of really going out to kill mobs
i think this is one of the best pet evolution book ever read. there is no dam bad guy who is mad that a girl he likes looks at the mc or there isnt every noble out there want to kill the mc the plot is great so far if he works on himself more will make this book even better so im looking forward to later chapters to see if he does
