OmgI wrote a review and it got deleted when I accidentally reloaded the page. I have a filter over this book and bias cus I’ve read it a couple years ago on novelupdates. Here are reason someone won’t like it . 1) Mc is treated badly and always gossiped/speculated abt when it comes to the villiage .Some villagers are okay.2) Women’s animosity towards the mc ,village head daughter,Eldest Aunt , neighbor Shun wife ( ex prostitute one. 3) Mc is personality kinda is childish, ignorant, Naive, and doormats ish to the point sometimes u forget she’s actually a 27yr old women who’s been through a long term toxic marriage and wants children. She comes off as an actual child/teenager that the ml see her that way to. 4) The Ml is kinda forceful and their deliberate or lack of communication with the mc regarding her past or anything else that she might need to know. 5) Plot inconsistencies and randomness in the second half of it. I also dropped the book for these reasons but came back and tried to finish it and now I really don’t mind it that much. Actually I think the mc personality grows throughout the book , like when she accepted the male leads, asking to start a business and after she gave birth (ml noticed to) . Like I forgot her personality at the beginng and she’s kinda likable after the initial stage. Most characters get a redemption and sorta a normal or happy ending(female ones). I actually come back to this book to read the sweet and cute love story and how they progress for the mc and mls. Ex of their sweet moments.1) Li Mo (eldest) everytime mc makes a snack, He has to let mc get first bite of his portion. He defends and respect and protects the mc especially against other ppl including his aunt and listens to her. Li Han(4th) Loves to read a book to the mc as she lays in his arm to sleep or any sorta activity related to that. Li Yan(2nd) and Li shu(3rd) actually are notoriously clingy and pda with the mc a lot. Also their good dads to an extent after the whole birth part. They actually are mainly shown to be taking care of their kids more than the mc is. Both aunts stay to help the mc take care of her kids and accompanying her but yea most of the time the male leads are waking up in the middle of the night to help with the kids or hanging out more with the kids along with the aunt. The mc is a loving and good mom but it’s not talked abt compare to the ML being more hands on. Alos for a harem book all the MLs do have jealously and hurt feelings but it’s more overshadows by their deep love and happiness for their brother. The mc doesn’t really like Li shy as much until the second season of it but most of the time there is a obvious preference the mc has but it’s not really shown as much after being talked abt . I also don’t red mcuh abt the plot of the second book and only found it in parts . But the sep und book is nothing more than other ppl lives and how their having a good ending and the Og owners backstory and etc. But I really don’t like it or care abt the Og owners family tbh. Its confusing so I pretended it was another book cus it didn’t keep with the theme of Farmer in ancient China. The kids also don’t get talked abt or even shown to be taken care of much by their parents for how much the mc cried and anticipated for it.
