Tbh I really enjoy this genre of mc traveling back to a life in ancient or republic China or primitive beats worlds. Well you already know what your going into when you read the first chapter and tbh it doesn’t really change but the mc dose become more ‘ special ‘ and op in terms of what she can provide or status wise. Before I used to be able to enjoy and read through the entirely of novels like these with these type of ml or mc but now I’ve kinda gotten done with it . I’ve read some many chapters and the the mc personality doesn’t even change and she’s pretty childish to like most harem mc. She also is extremely willful at the most inconvenient moments that leads to danger plot. Like she’ll be in danger and then etc. Like Ik most ppl wouldn’t mind the mc inability to accept multiple ml or even ahve faveoitisim but I personally think her indecisiveness and lack of communication makes her an extremely bad harem mc. Like most harems the ml are extremely obessed and poessieve over her to the point they learn to tolerate other men and coexist to not make the mc feel bad. I would honestly actually continue if I really liked the male lead despite my many opinion the mc but the male leads kinda suck to. Like their personality isn’t that sweet and appealing compare to other ones. All of their care and love are kinda superficial and fast pace that it doesn’t give that sweet ‘ awe their so I love and ended with eachother ‘ feeling. I also forgot the mc wasn’t some teenage naive character becuase her thought process and personality is that of a ignorant teenager. If your read the book like a few chapters and already feel like u don’t like some of the troupes or how the characters gonna go. Save yourself the time and trouble and just leave the book lmao. I felt like that and felt like it was a cliche book and it was but I read it for the genres. Anyways I can see why ppl would’ve like this because I would’ve to . The reason I dislike it is the exact reason ppl ignore and just tolerate or like.
